To equip girls and young women in marginalized communities to attain economic independence through education, health awareness, and spiritual resilience.
A world where every girl and young woman leads a life of dignity, choice, and limitless opportunity.
We act with empathy and understanding in all situations
We treat everyone with dignity and respect
We uphold the worth of every individual
We conduct our work with transparency and accountability
In Kenya's informal settlements and rural villages, young women face a "triple threat": systemic poverty, cultural barriers to education, and limited health agency. Traditional charity often addresses symptoms rather than root causes. SPE was founded to disrupt these cycles by addressing the "whole person"—spirit, mind, and livelihood.
We serve as a strategic bridge between systemic vulnerability and sustainable self-reliance. By integrating spiritual resilience with market-driven economic tools—specifically our VSLA Plus and Street Business School models—we equip young women to disrupt cycles of poverty and reclaim their narratives.
